Where to watch in São Paulo

  1. Avenida Paulista, near the main stage — In recent editions the stage has stood between Rua Haddock Lobo and Rua Bela Cintra; in the 2024/25 show the fireworks were fired from a rooftop behind the stage.
  2. Video-screen stretches of Avenida Paulista — Video screens relay the show along the avenue, so you can watch away from the stage.
  3. Alameda Santos and Rua São Carlos do Pinhal — Closed to traffic together with Paulista in 2025/26; the show area could be reached from all three streets.

Getting there

  • Metrô: for the 2025/26 party, Metrô planned non-stop service on 31 December and 1 January, with Paraíso, Brigadeiro and Trianon-MASP stations open all night. Brigadeiro, Trianon-MASP and Consolação are the nearest stations; check Metrô's notice for this year's hours.
  • Consolação, the station closest to the stage, was scheduled to close from 10:00 on 31 December until after 04:40 on 1 January in 2025/26, and Metrô recommended Brigadeiro and Paraíso for the trip home.
  • Avenida Paulista, Alameda Santos and Rua São Carlos do Pinhal were closed to vehicles for the party, and SPTrans ran a special bus operation; check SPTrans for this year's service.
  • The avenue and neighbouring streets were closed to traffic at the 2025/26 party, so expect to arrive on foot. Prohibited items in 2025/26 included speakers, glass, sprays, coolers, bicycles, scooters and umbrellas.
