  • Last year (New Year 2026) traffic police announced a ban on vehicles from 9 pm to 1 am on central streets around the Saigon River fireworks site, including Le Loi (Pasteur to Dong Khoi), Nguyen Hue, Dong Khoi and Ton Duc Thang. Plan to arrive early and walk the last stretch.
  • Central venues were packed from about 5:30 pm last year (New Year 2026) and many city-centre car parks filled quickly; main roads such as Nguyen Thi Minh Khai, Ly Tu Trong and Le Thanh Ton moved slowly.
