Getting there

  • The Mayor's guidance for New Year 2027 says travel in London on New Year's Eve will likely be busier than usual and transit through central London will be harder than usual, so you may need to change plans or use alternative routes.
  • Vehicle access to the event area is restricted from about 2 pm on 31 December until around 6 am on 1 January (contingency plans allow some closures from noon), and no vehicle passes are issued for closed roads.
